 Florida is blessed with many beautiful historic
courthouses. Luckily for the citizens of Florida, many of them are still in
use, being preserved or being restored. I began collecting postcards several years ago. My
thanks to Judge Michael Raiden,
Jared Anton of Hollywood, Florida, Keith Vincent of Maryland and Richard Reddick of Tampa who have
graciously provided me with scans from their collection of postcards. Judge Raiden and
Jared Anton also contributed much of the text which accompanies these historic courthouse
illustrations. We now have all 67 counties represented.
Thanks also to the Florida State Archives for giving us permission
to use photos from their wonderful postcard
collection.
